Housing Officer
Location: Oxford
Hours: Full-time, Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm
Pay: £–£ per hour
We’re looking for a compassionate Support Officer to work with people who have experienced homelessness and are now living in independent accommodation across Oxford. You’ll provide person-centred, trauma-informed support, help clients move on to suitable long-term housing, and work closely with partner agencies to ensure their needs are met.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting individuals with a range of needs, including substance use and mental health.
Creating support plans, completing risk assessments, and maintaining accurate records.
Helping clients transition into new accommodation and build independence.
Ensuring properties remain safe and welcoming.
What we’re looking for:
Experience supporting vulnerable adults (homelessness, housing, or social care).
Strong communication, resilience, and a calm approach to challenging situations.
A team-focused, compassionate worker committed to empowering others.
