Functions
* Workingin our 16 service our priority is to provide a safe compassionatenurturing and supportive environment that facilitates young peopleaged 1624 years to have positive outcomes and fulfil theirpotential.
* Supporting a group of our residentsyou will work with them either on an individual or group basiswhere you will support them to learn and develop life skillsexplore education or employment and encourage all opportunitieswith the intention of them taking positive steps towardsindependent living through sport activities and organisedevents.
* You will build trusted and meaningfulrelationships working closely with these young people supportingour trauma informed practices. With your personcentered approachyou will work with our residents to develop their own Risks Needsand Support planning. Through the use of smart targets you willhelp them achieve their goals.

* Ensure effective communication withresidents and monitor and review their progress within the stagedprovision modeL
* 1.2 Facilitate external supportnetworks for the benefit of the Association and itsresidents.
* 1.3 Signpost residents toappropriate internal and external supportprovisions.
* 1.4 Undertake one to one and groupsessions with residents to sustain their tenancies develop lifeskills and build community
* 1.5Mediate the resolution of any disputes/conflicts betweenresidents
* 1.6 Ensure residents claim housingbenefit and other benefits as applicable to ensure recovery of rentand service charges.
* 1.7 Explain the landlordsand the residents rights and responsibilities under the LicenceAgreement and arrangesignups.
Requirements
1.1Current in depth knowledge of housing issues and legislationparticularly relating to homelessnessrefugees etc
1.2Knowledge of the benefits and welfare system
1.3 Knowledgeof the external bodies associated withand/or affiliated tosupported and social housing
1.4 Experience of working ina supported housing project
move on accommodation projectwith vulnerable/challenging adults and / or youngpeople
1.5 Experience of report writing and completingreports compiling statistics reporting performance etc
1.6Experience of working with a diverse range of people includingrefugees
those with addiction issues ex offenders andyoung people
1.7 Experience of dealing with safeguardingissues and ensuring that safeguarding guidance is adheredto
1.8 Experience of working in and handling stressfulsituations effectively
2.1 Training relevant to supportedhousing and the client group
2.2 Excellent level ofeducation (literacy IT and numeracy)
2.10 / 2.11 Abilityto demonstrate an empatheticprofessional and person centredapproachin particular with relation to issues pertaining tovulnerable adultsrefugees and young people
2.12 Ability todemonstrate and understand the importance of effective teamworking
