Little Waltham Church of England Primary School is seeking to appoint aSENCOto join our dedicated team from September 2025 to cover maternity leave for the Autumn term. This role is part-time for two days per week, with flexible working days, making it an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a better work-life balance or looking to supplement an existing role. The position is for one term to cover the final term of a maternity leave.
Little Waltham CEVA Primary is a welcoming one-form-entry school set in the picturesque village of Little Waltham, just outside Chelmsford. The Successful Candidate Will:
Hold the National Award for SEN Coordination (or be working towards it).
Be passionate about inclusive education and experienced in supporting children with a range of additional needs.
Work effectively with staff, families, and external agencies to secure the best outcomes for pupils.
Be well-organised, proactive, and confident in leading SEND provision across the school.
Demonstrate a strong commitment to our Christian ethos and school values in every aspect of their practice.
