As a
Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you'll support the Commercial team in managing project costs, preparing valuations, and assisting with tendering and procurement activities. Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates, valuations, and project budgets.
Support the preparation and submission of tenders and quotations.
Review drawings, specifications, and scope documents to understand project requirements.
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather and verify commercial information.
Assist in the procurement process, including issuing enquiries and analysing quotations.
Help monitor project costs, variations, and progress against budgets.
Maintain accurate records of all commercial documentation and correspondence.
Support senior surveyors in preparing reports and final accounts.
Skills & Experience
Degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
A strong understanding of construction or civil engineering principles.
Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (experience with estimating or cost management software desirable).
Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
A proactive approach to learning and professional development.
Interest in working towards RICS or other professional accreditation.
