* ASAP Start
This Primary School in the BS9 area is looking for an Interventions Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.
This Primary wants every member of our school family, no matter what their background, to look to the horizon for possibilities of what can be achieved for themselves and those around them.
The Role
The ideal Interventions Teaching Assistant supports students who need extra help to achieve academic or behavioral goals, often working with small groups or individuals outside the main classroom. You will be expected to:
* Support students who require additional help in specific subjects.
* Work one-on-one or with small groups to deliver targeted interventions.
* Assist the class teacher in identifying students who need extra support.
* Help plan, prepare, and deliver tailored learning activities and resources.
* Monitor and record student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
* Promote students’ self-esteem, confidence, and independence.
* Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs and other staff.
* Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
