Job Description
As a key leader in this new club opening, your responsibilities will include:
* Pre-Sales Planning & Execution
Own and deliver an impactful pre-sales campaign to drive early sign-ups and local awareness prior to the gym's opening. Coordinate with marketing teams, attend outreach events, and ensure lead capture and follow-up processes are in place.
* Local Marketing & Outreach
Build partnerships with local businesses, community groups and influencers to establish the gym within the local area and generate ongoing leads.
* Sales & Retention Growth
Champion the live member movement by leading on new member sales, retention strategies, and upselling across all revenue lines (e.g., memberships, PT, and secondary spend).
* Team Leadership & Development
Support and coach the wider team in delivering exceptional service, selling confidently using our FUNDAMENTALS sales process, and living our elevated ways of working.
* Member Experience
Be a visible leader on the gym floor and at reception, ensuring every interaction enhances the member experience. Handle feedback proactively and champion a member-first culture.
* Performance Monitoring & Strategy
Monitor KPIs via dashboards, report performance insights, and deliver monthly sales presentations to management.
* Operational Support
Support the GM in operational excellence, including H&S, maintenance, recruitment, and club standards.
Qualifications
* Passion for fitness, wellness, and member experience
* Strong leadership and coaching qualities
* Commercial acumen and a proactive sales mindset
* Adaptable communication and interpersonal skills
* High standards, attention to detail, and solution-focused approach
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays as needed
* Experience in pre-sales, outreach, or new gym openings is a strong advantage
