Work Wales have an exciting new position for a Project Service Manager. The charity we are working with provides support for people with Mental Health, Addiction and Complex Needs to achieve their potential and a higher standard of life. Your role will involve training and support individuals who have personal experience of addiction to share their experience and raise awareness of the impact of stigma and to engage in anti-stigma work. The programme will help people have a better understanding of addiction and harmful behaviours, and how to seek appropriate support. The overall aim of the project is to reduce addiction-related stigma. This position is Monday to Friday with hours being worked between 9am to 5pm but the role will involve travel across Wales and occasional overnight stays. This is a contract of 30 hours a week. Key Responsibilities: Full UK Drivers Licence To work as part of a team to actively identify, coordinate and deliver activities within identified target group settings activities. To effectively coordinate a team of Engagement Officers across Wales in the pursuit and delivery of activities to grow the opportunities of the programme. To lead on the development and delivery of high-quality literature and training on drug and alcohol awareness/stigma. To support the promotion and coordination of events and media campaigns, reducing stigma and inspiring community support. Develop, manage and monitor the ongoing delivery of training and anti-stigma activity ensuring an equal representation across Wales. Develop effective distribution channels for engaging and targeting individuals with personal addiction experiences and employers across Wales. The post will have a brief covering all of Wales and the post holder will occasionally be expected to travel outside of their location for meetings and events.
