At Targeted Provision, we are dedicated to transforming the educational landscape for young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Disabilities (SEND), including those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. We are passionate about supporting children with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and we need enthusiastic tutors like you to make a difference!
If you have a genuine passion for helping disengaged and vulnerable learners, we want to hear from you! This role is perfect for qualified SEN / SEND teachers who are eager to provide 1:1 tutoring in a creative, flexible, and trauma-informed manner.

Your Role as an SEN / SEND Tutor:
* Provide engaging tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other educational needs
* Support young learners referred by local authorities and schools in their educational and social-emotional journeys
* Deliver flexible and holistic tutoring that is trauma-informed and tailored to individual needs
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and execute each tutoring session to meet the unique needs of each student
* Create holistic and engaging learning experiences that foster educational and emotional growth
* Complete lesson reports and provide constructive feedback on student progress
What We’re Looking For:
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS)
* A minimum of 2 years teaching experience
* Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other educational needs
* Knowledge of safeguarding processes
* Enhanced DBS (we can assist with obtaining this if needed)
* Two professional references
* Must be based in the UK with the right to work, even for remote assignments
It is essential that you promote the health, safety, and well-being of children and adhere to safeguarding policies at all times.
Employment Details:
* This role involves engaging with us as a Worker for short-term assignments
* You will work under a contract for service and be paid via PAYE
* No guaranteed work hours or expense coverage
* Our insurance covers the work you do for us
* This is not a self-employed tutoring position
