Role Overview
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the full commercial management of multiple civil engineering and groundworks packages, including:
* Commercial management of groundworks & infrastructure projects
* Cost control, forecasting & commercial reporting
* Applications for payment, valuations & variations
* Subcontract procurement and commercial management
* Final accounts and commercial negotiations
* Client liaison and stakeholder management
* Supporting value engineering and early project input
Project Exposure
You'll be involved in technically challenging and high-value schemes including:
* Housing development infrastructure
* Section 278 & Section 38 works
* Deep drainage & adoptable roads
* Groundworks & bulk earthworks
* Mains services, lagoons & attenuation ponds
What They\'re Looking For
* Experience as a Senior/Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering, infrastructure or groundworks
* Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
* Ability to manage multiple live projects
* Commercially sharp, proactive and hands-on
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
