This is a permanent, full-time position with day shifts from Monday to Friday, 0800-1630.
About the Role
Join our dynamic Pain Management Service at the Royal Hospital for Children Glasgow. This established service provides highly specialised care to paediatric patients with acute pain within a multidisciplinary setting.
Candidate Profile
* Registered paediatric nurse with a genuine interest in Pain Management.
* Excellent communication skills and willingness to develop skills.
* Sufficient knowledge to manage complex pain situations.
* Motivated to develop and support service progression.
Main Duties
* Support the development and delivery of the paediatric pain service for both inpatients and outpatients.
* Contribute to the overall pain management service.
Qualifications and Development
Educated to first degree level in a health-related subject. Willingness to undertake post-registration education in specialist practice.
