We’re supporting a welcoming 11–16 secondary school looking for an experienced SEN Teacher to join their dedicated inclusion team. You’ll work with pupils who have a range of additional needs providing tailored support, differentiated teaching, and the consistency they need to thrive in school.
About the Role
As an SEN Teacher, you’ll:
* Deliver adapted lessons to students with EHCPs or additional learning needs
* Teach small groups or 1:1 in a specialist provision, nurture group, or mainstream setting
* Use strategies to support communication, emotional regulation, literacy and numeracy
* Collaborate closely with SENCOs, TAs, and outside agencies
* Track progress and contribute to personalised learning plans and reviews
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
* Holds QTS and has experience teaching pupils with SEND
* Can confidently adapt content for a range of abilities and learning styles
* Builds trust quickly and models calm, consistent expectations
* Has a strong grasp of EHCP processes, inclusive strategies, and behavioural support
* Is committed to helping every pupil feel seen, supported, and capable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
