Hays are recruiting for a Finance Administrator to join a growing start‑up financial services firm based in Wilmslow. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business in an early growth phase, where change is frequent and innovation is encouraged.
Your new role
1. Supporting ie accuracy and financial control across the wider business
2. Investigating ie discrepancies and liaising with providers to resolve issues
3. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external providers
4. Helping to maintain smooth revenue processes and accurate adviser remuneration
5. Contributing to strongernance, reporting and audit standards
6. Supporting the integration of newly acquired businesses into existing finance processes
7. Working with back‑office systems such as Intelliflo, orparable platforms, to maintain accurate financial and client data
What you'll need to succeed
8. Experience within finance administration, ideally in an IFA or wealth management environment
9. Proven experience carrying out ie reconciliation, preferably using Intelliflo, Xplan, Prestwood, or a similar back‑office system
10. Hands‑on involvement in ie reconciliation, investigation of discrepancies, and provider liaison
11. Confidence analysing financial data and resolving reconciliation issues
12. Strong Excel skills
13. High attention to detail and accuracy
14. The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
15. An open‑minded and adaptable approach,fortable working in a fast‑paced start‑up environment where processes may change
16. Clearmunication skills to collaborate effectively with advisers, operations teams, providers and finance colleagues
