Salary: Up to £50k doe plus discretionary bonus (up to 15%) + benefits
The Role:
The Investment Analyst position presents an exciting opportunity to report directly to the Chief Investment Officer and contribute to the company's financial success. This role involves analysing investment opportunities, conducting market research, and providing valuable insights to support decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities of the Investment Analyst:
* Conduct in-depth analysis of investment portfolios, opportunities and market trends
* Delivery of Month end, quarter and year end Investment reporting
* Production of high-quality Management Information
* Delivery of periodic reports to internal control / governance forums
* Comply with the FCA’s conduct and Consumer Duty roles and the PRA’s conduct standards
* Supporting ad hoc and ongoing projects and the CIO as and when required
* Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on investment strategies
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support investment decision-making
Required knowledge and experience for the Investment Analyst role:
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Experience of working with data sets and produce Management Information
* Hands on Investment and reporting exposure
* Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office experience
* Demonstrable knowledge of Financial Assets (Bonds, Equities, Fund structures) and Investment theories
* Prior experience within Investments, actuarial or Accounting within an analytical role
* Knowledge of the insurance and pensions industry
