Primary Activities: Preparing project documentation using the following software: Revit, AutoCAD, NBS Chorus, Solibri Preparation and management of a BIM model, collaboration with other consultant team members in a Common Data Environment Undertaking site visits (subject to agreed scope of services) Investigating and offering technical advice and factors that affect building developments, including user needs, site and building surveys, and regulatory requirements Monitoring designs for health and safety and contributing to risk assessments Coordinating detailed design information with other disciplines Undertaking clash detection exercises using Solibri or similar to ensure the delivery of a coordinated BIM model Preparing specifications for construction work using NBS Chorus or similar Preparing drawings, plans, and documents for statutory approvals Preparing applications for approval by regulatory bodies Contributing to meetings and document preparation Researching new design processes, building legislation and technology Key Skills A proven ability in the use of AutoDesk Revit in the documentation of complex building construction and component assemblies Experience of preparing and co-ordinating information in relation to complex healthcare buildings and systems Ability to find the best solutions for complex technical problems and for complex challenges presented by the particular project context or brief An eye for design and detail based on an understanding of building technology and systems Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly to colleagues, the client and the wider design team Ability to nurture and maintain good professional relations with colleagues, clients and other consultants General approach to role Conform to guidelines for general behaviour as outlined in the Team Handbook Contribute to general company social and philanthropic activities Contribute to company innovation by suggesting new ideas, processes and techniques Strive for continual improvement and development of knowledge and skills Additional Points Depending on workload and subject to agreement personnel may be required to perform overtime activities to meet deadlines.
