Overview
Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
1. Develop and maintain SQL code used for reporting to their external partners
2. Collaborate with external partners to provide the information required, and respond to queries
3. Support data preparation and validation tasks to ensure accuracy and consistency in actuarial analyses including for their external partners
4. Drive continuous improvement and automation of actuarial and financial reporting processes by leveraging systems expertise, advanced analytics, and emerging technologies such as AI.
Qualifications required:
5. Degree or other qualification in a numerical or analytical subject and/or a past or present student member of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (who has stopped studying) with proven experience
Experience required:
6. Proficient in SQL and Excel, with proven experience. RAFM, Unify, Emblem, R, Python and PowerQuery knowledge or the ability to learn these systems
7. Strong analytical and logical skills that can be applied in a systems-based environment
8. Highly numerate with a good level of accuracy and attention to detail
