The CS3 line of business operates across the UK, providing innovative and invaluable support solutions to our customers. You will be part of the TCS team catering for the ongoing maintenance and support of the Leonardo ATCR33S Primary Surveillance Radar (PSR) and the SIR-S Secondary Surveillance Radar (SSR) in the Air Traffic Control (ATC) Environment. We are looking for someone with experience working on complex electronic and electromechanical systems, with an Aerospace and Defence background, with a solid understanding of Radar. In this role you will be a Leonardo Field Service Engineer and a Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing direct support to our customers. What you'll do as a Senior Radar Support Engineer The primary purpose of this role is to support the UK based fleet of ATCR33S and SIR-S Radar Systems by: Acting in a support role for customers seeking assistance with ATCR33S and SIR-S Radar Systems Liaising with all stakeholders, internal and external, to understand operational priorities Ensuring the continued availability of customer assets Ensuring issues are mitigated or escalated as appropriate Complete fault identification and rectification at customer sites Complete both electronic and mechanical maintenance activities at customer sites Complete support activities such as calibration management and Lifting Equipment management Completing Written engineering reports and submission of Method Statements, etc We would like to hear from you if you have a combination of the following: Essential: A full UK driving licence (Category B) Ability to achieve SC security clearance Ability to travel to customer sites throughout the British Isles during the working week, (usually between 5 and 10 working days per month) Ability to complete Working at Height and Rescue from Height Training Flexible approach to onsite working hours when deployed Are available to commence the role within 3 months or earlier if possible Highly desirable: Experience working in an electromechanical maintenance environment Experience of Ground Radar Experience of working in the Air Traffic Domain Desirable: HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or equivalent Experience working at offsite locations, i.e. away from back office/main site support Specialist ATCR33S and SIR-S Radar training will be provided.
