SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting diverse learning needs and creating an inclusive educational environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Provide tailored support to students with a range of special educational needs and disabilities.
* Work closely with the teaching staff to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
* Assist in the development of social skills and positive behaviour through structured support.
* Adapt learning materials to meet the needs of students.
* Monitor and record students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
* Facilitate small group activities and one-on-one support sessions.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all students under your care.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Extensive experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or similar role.
* NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent.
* Strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with special educational needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
* Patience, empathy, and a dedicated approach to student development.
