Overview
We are seeking skilled bricklayers for work on our current project. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in masonry techniques and have experience in bricklaying. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work with various materials, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. You will be working closely with other trades on site and should be capable of laying an acceptable industry standard amount of bricks/blocks per day.
Duties
* Lay bricks, blocks, and other types of masonry materials according to specifications and blueprints.
* Measure and cut materials accurately using hand tools and power tools.
* Construct walls, arches, and other structures while ensuring they are level and aligned.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations.
Requirements
* Proven experience in masonry or bricklaying is essential.
* Proficiency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in masonry work.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings a bonus but not essential.
* Strong understanding of construction safety practices.
* Physical stamina to perform manual labour for extended periods, including lifting heavy materials.
* Experience working on roofs is advantageous but not mandatory.
