This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring educational psychologists, youth justice workers, prison liaison officers, or behaviour mentors, among other career paths. You will gain valuable, first-hand experience in a specialist school environment, working with students with SEMH needs, Autism, and moderate to complex needs that may require personal care support. * Enabling students with diverse learning and behavioural needs to access quality education and set objectives for their future.
* Collaborating with art, occupational, and speech and language therapists to implement holistic, restorative approaches to learning and behaviour management.
* Using positive reinforcement and confidence-building techniques.
* Providing classroom support and 1:1 assistance outside the classroom.
* Enjoying fantastic CPD provided by teachers and tutors, ideal if you plan to pursue an MSc in the future.
* Working with like-minded Psychology graduates with similar objectives.
* Salary: Up to £90 per day, starting May 2024, depending on availability. Hours are 8:30 am to 4:15 pm.
