Horizons Residential Care Limited is a residential childcare provider based in Berwick-upon-Tweed aiming to provide a therapeutic and nurturing residential home for children and young people.

Job Position: Senior Residential Care Workers:
We are looking for caring, committed, resilient, and empathic senior residential childcare workers to join our team. As a Senior Residential Childcare Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in a residential care setting. You will be supervising key workers and responsible for supporting the team to develop and grow. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety, wellbeing, and development of the children and young people in the home, through promoting a therapeutic and welcoming home, providing the highest quality of care. As a case manager, you will work as part of a team, and carry out day-to-day quality assurance, observations, support, and guidance, while maintaining positive relationships with the children, their families, the care team, and external professionals.
Hourly Rate for Senior Residential Care Workers is in the range of £14.00 to £17.00.
Experienced and Fully Qualified (HNC, SVQ3, and SVQ 4) applicants will be on the following Pay Rate: A minimum £15 per hour.
The ideal candidate must have 2 or more years' experience working with and caring for vulnerable young people in a residential care setting, who have a range of support needs varying from traumatic life experience, family breakdown to disability. Candidates must also be fully qualified to work as a residential childcare worker, meeting the requirements as set out by the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) for registration. A clean and current driving licence is also preferable, alongside a willingness to transport the young people in our care using company vehicles.
Essential
· Clean Driving Licence

· Able to work unsocial hours, including Weekends.
· Shift Patterns: Full Days, Sleep-ins, OnCalls
· Accepted Qualifications: For Senior Residential Child Care Workers: HNC/NVQ3 or equivalent
