SEND TEACHING ASSISTANT Cranleigh, Surrey £20,224 - £21,032 Actual Salary (£23,580 - £24,521 FTE) Permanent | Full Time | September Start Do you want a role where you genuinely change lives every day? Pink Tile Education is recruiting on behalf of a specialist autism and SEND school in Cranleigh for compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their permanent team. Working with children and young people aged 5-19, you will support pupils with autism, complex learning needs and social communication difficulties, helping them access education, develop independence and achieve their individual goals. The role includes: • Supporting students within small class groups • Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions • Supporting communication, emotional regulation and independence • Working alongside teachers, therapists and support staff • Assisting with personal care where required We are looking for people who are: ✔ Patient, resilient and caring ✔ Interested in SEND, autism or specialist education ✔ Comfortable supporting challenging behaviour ✔ Strong communicators and team players ✔ Committed to safeguarding children Experience within education, care, coaching, youth work, support work or residential care is highly desirable but not essential.
