Your Future Team:
You’ll lead and support a team of Area Sales Executives, working collaboratively to strengthen partnerships with our key merchant customers. Together, you’ll drive sustainable growth and reinforce ROCKWOOL’s market leadership across the South of the UK.
What you’ll do:
1. Build and manage strong partnerships with key merchant and contractor customers, serving as their main regional contact
2. Develop and implement data-driven growth plans aligned with both regional and national strategies
3. Present business insights, lead quarterly business reviews, and create actionable plans for continuous improvement
4. Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and specialist teams to maximise commercial opportunities
5. Monitor key business indicators, analyse competitor activity, and champion ROCKWOOL’s brand through marketing and training initiatives
6. Utilise CRM and support systems to drive pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and strategic account planning
7. Lead cross-functional initiatives, sharing market insights and ensuring best practices across teams
8. Represent ROCKWOOL at industry events, positioning us as the supplier of choice
9. Support and develop your team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring compliance with industry standards
What you bring:
10. Relevant experience in sales or account management, ideally within the construction or building materials sector
11. Strong strategic customer management skills and a track record of building successful partnerships
12. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities, capable of conveying complex information clearly
13. Proven leadership experience, motivating and developing high-performing teams to hit targets
14. Effective relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders
15. Confident use of CRM systems and data to drive results
16. Organised, results-driven, and innovative approach
