Motorpoint is the UK’s leading omnichannel car retailer of nearly new cars. We are looking for a Preparation Support Manager to supervise the workshop and yard team, reporting directly into the General Sales Manager.

Hours: 42.5 per week
Location: Swansea
Our workshops are a key department on every site and we are looking for a Preparation Support Manager to guide the preparation team in delivering the highest quality standards for all vehicles ready for display and delivery to customers.
Key Responsibilities
 * Supervise a team of Pre-delivery Inspection Technicians and Vehicle Preparation Assistants to deliver high quality standards.
 * Manage productivity and efficiency of the team, matching workload to resources.
 * Coaching and developing the preparation teams, ensuring they have the resources to deliver results.
 * Ensure work is allocated to individuals and productivity is maintained while maintaining quality.
 * Work closely with the store management team to ensure high levels of customer service to all customers.
 * Maintain good administrative procedures and filing of relevant documents.
 * Work closely with sub‑contractors on site and maintain a good relationship, ensuring quality of work.
 * Carry out all duties in line with the company’s health and safety policies, procedures and safe-to-work instructions.
 * Full, clean driving licence required.

Qualifications & Experience
We are looking for someone with a proven track record in a similar role, in particular workshop control, quality control and managing logistics, along with people management and leadership experience. The role requires organisational and methodical skills to manage multiple processes and tasks simultaneously, and IT literacy with working knowledge of Outlook and Excel.
