Rural Surveyor – Ashby-de-la-Zouch & Atherstone

We are now seeking a talented and motivated MRICS Chartered Surveyor to join our Rural North team.
The Opportunity
This is a varied, client-facing role offering genuine breadth and responsibility within an established rural department.
Based between our Ashby-de-la-Zouch and Atherstone offices, you will advise a diverse client base ranging from private landowners and farming families to estates and national developers.
Your work will include:
* Rural and residential agency from appraisal through to negotiation and completion
* RICS Red Book valuations across agricultural, residential and development assets
* Secured lending, probate, tax planning and portfolio restructuring advice
* Agricultural support scheme applications and management
* Estate and land management including FBTs, GK agreements and Contract Farming arrangements
* Rent reviews, lease renewals and tenant negotiations
* Planning applications and development advice
* Option and promotion agreements
* Farm dispersal auctions and collective sales
This is not a narrow or siloed position. It is a hands‑on role offering autonomy, responsibility and the opportunity to build long‑term relationships within the rural sector.

About You
* MRICS qualified
* Ideally a Registered RICS Valuer
* Strong knowledge of farming and agricultural practice
* Commercially aware and confident with clients
* Organised, proactive and detail-focused
* Full UK driving licence
