We are seeking an experienced and motivated Pastry Chef de Partie to join the kitchen events team at Kings Place, in our very own bakery. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a high-volume environment, delivering high-quality pastry creations with efficiency and creativity. We operate Monday to Friday. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Pastry CDP or a strong Demi ready to work independently, supporting and guiding junior chefs when required. Key Responsibilities Run the pastry section independently, from daily planning and mise en place through to service and close-down. Lead pastry production for events, functions, and hospitality bookings, with additional support for restaurant and café service. Deliver desserts and baked items to agreed standards of quality, consistency, and presentation. Plan production in line with event schedules and service requirements. Manage stock rotation, storage, labelling, and temperature control (FIFO). Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and food safety. Monitor workflow, timing, and ingredient quality during service. Control waste and portioning to support cost control and GP.
