We are a growing Building & Civil engineering contractor operating across NI, IRE & the UK. Due to continued workload, we are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer / Site Manager to oversee day-to-day site operations and support project delivery from start to finish.
This is a hands‑on role, ideal for someone who enjoys being on site, managing teams, and taking ownership of works.
Key Responsibilities
* Day‑to‑day management of civil and groundworks projects
* Setting out and supervising works on site
* Managing subcontractors, operatives, and plant
* Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
* Liaising with clients, engineers, and suppliers
* Maintaining site records, RAMS, and quality documentation
* Ordering materials and coordinating deliveries
* Assisting with valuations, variations, and cost control
Requirements
* Degree or HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience)
* Previous experience in civil engineering / groundworks projects
* Strong knowledge of site operations and health & safety
* Ability to read drawings and specifications confidently
* Setting out experience using GPS/total station (advantageous)
* Full UK driving licence
* Self‑motivated with strong organisational skills
