Job Description
Due to significant investment which has seen the site expand packaging capability and installing an automated high-speed canning line we are looking for and additional two maintenance engineers to support the current team and production.
Working a four on four off shift pattern (2 days and 2 nights)you will provide both reactive and proactive maintenance support. The business is family owned and has a low turnover of staff providing an excellent working environment.
We are looking for either an electrically or mechanically bias Maintenance Engineer to join our current Engineering Team.
* Responsible for breakdown situations, planned preventative maintenance and planned shutdowns
* Continuous improvement, working within the team to strive to continuously deliver performance improvements
* Key relationships will be the Engineering Manager, Production Team Leaders and the Engineering Team
* The role will be part of a three-man team, covering the whole Bottling/Canning Halls, Process Plant and Services
Personnel Specification
1. Ideally indentured with HNC in Electrical Engineering
2. Experience within a packaging environment preferred, but not essential
3. Extensive knowledge of electrical, automation and PLC software, ideally Siemens S7
4. Experience of working in a challenging quality and customer focused environment
