We are looking for a calm, patient and reliable Personal Assistant (PA) to support a 14‑year‑old autistic boy with learning disabilities. He is a bright, thoughtful young person who thrives on routine, familiarity, and gentle encouragement. Walking and being outdoors (once he feels comfortable). Geography, maps, taking pictures and learning about new places. The idea of joining a gym in the future with the right support. He experiences high anxiety, particularly around leaving the house, and benefits from a PA who can build trust gradually and help him feel safe. Over time, we would like to build his confidence in accessing the community, trying new places, and meeting people at a pace that feels right for him. Encouraging social interaction in a calm, supportive way. Ensuring his safety, comfort, and wellbeing at all times. Helping him explore his interests, especially geography and the world around him. Supporting him with home‑based activities initially, then gently encouraging outdoor walks and local outings when he is ready.
