Role
Receptionist/Clerical Officer – Band 3, 37 hours per week – Permanent. Breast Screening Service – Aberdeen Royal Infirmary (ARI). The service is based at ARI and will move to the Baird Family Hospital on completion of building work.
Responsibilities
* Work on own initiative as well as be a team player; self-motivated and able to prioritise conflicting demands.
* Deal with service users and colleagues in a confident, caring and empathetic manner, both over the phone and in person.
* Be well organised and methodical with excellent communication, interpersonal and IT skills.
* Carry out reception duties in a hospital setting and work with members of the public (previous experience desirable).
Qualifications and Experience
* Previous experience of reception duties in a hospital setting and working with members of the public is desirable.
* Ability to read and understand the job description and personal specification; ability to relate past experience to the role and explain this in supporting statements.
