Training Manger - 2 year fixed term contract

As we continue to enjoy an exciting period of growth in the UK, we are looking for additional resources to support us with on our project with Transport for London. The Training Manager is responsible for establishing and delivering the project-wide Training Plan for the Proteus Programme, covering both the Entry Phase and the Service Delivery Phase. This role will lead the end-to-end implementation of all training activities, coordinate knowledge transfer from the Former Supplier, and ensure that Indra and TTL stakeholders receive the required skills, documentation, and operational capability to support a smooth transition and ongoing service.
Key duties include:
* Develop and maintain the Project Training Plan, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements, the Entry Plan, and Service Delivery processes.
* Lead and coordinate knowledge transfer activities from the Former Supplier, ensuring completeness, traceability, and effective absorption by Indra's operational and technical teams.
* Identify training needs across all workstreams.
* Design, schedule, and deliver training programmes, materials, and workshops for internal teams, subcontractors, and (where required) client-side participants.
* Validate training content received from the Former Supplier and ensure it meets contractual and operational standards.
* Oversee competency assessments, certification processes, and training completion tracking.
* Ensure all training documentation is created, version-controlled, approved, and stored in accordance with Indra and TTL requirements.
* Support the Service Delivery in preparing training needed for Day-1 readiness, service transition, and BAU operations.
* Report training progress, risks, and dependencies to the relevant governance forums.
* Coordinate closely with the HR team on training logistics, resources, and professional development pathways for staff.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Education, Training & Development, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
* Professional certification in training or learning & development (e.g., CIPD Level 5 L&D, Training Management qualifications, TAP/L&D certification).
* Experience delivering training in large-scale technology, transport, or systems integration projects.
* Experience managing knowledge transfer and structured training programmes during supplier transitions.
