Overview
University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is offering a fantastic opportunity to join our team. This role involves microbiological monitoring and senior pharmacy support work within the Quality Assurance lab.
Responsibilities
* Organise microbiological monitoring samples, track them during incubation, read and interpret the results.
* Enter results into the computer database and report summarised results to the services.
* As a Senior Pharmacy Support Worker, take responsibility for stock management and staff rotas to ensure all required tasks are covered by a competent team member.
* Contribute to the Quality Assurance lab which supports five pharmacy manufacturing services, preparing specialist sterile medicines in dedicated clean room facilities. The services employ around 60 staff and produce 150,000 doses per year.
* Participate in Saturday mornings, Bank Holidays and extended hours rotas; part-time working will be considered.

Additional Information
