Tradewind Recruitment is currently supporting a number of SEN schools in Wellingborough that are seeking passionate and committed SEN Class Teachers to join their teams. These schools cater for pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism (ASC), speech and language difficulties, moderate to severe learning difficulties (MLD/SLD), and SEMH challenges. This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced SEN teachers and confident mainstream teachers looking to transition into a specialist setting.
Key Responsibilities
* Planning and delivering personalised lessons tailored to pupils' individual needs
* Creating an inclusive, safe, and supportive classroom environment
* Managing support staff (e.g., TAs) effectively to enhance learning outcomes
* Using a range of strategies to support communication, behaviour, and engagement
* Monitoring pupil progress and contributing to EHCP reviews and reports
What We're Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching pupils with SEN (in mainstream or specialist settings)
* A nurturing and resilient approach to teaching
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
* Willingness to undertake CPD and further SEN training
