As Management Accountant, you will be a key member of the finance team, working closely with senior management to deliver accurate financial insights and support strategic decision-making. You'll play a central role in shaping financial systems, driving efficiency, and underpinning future growth.
Key Responsibilities:
o Support ERP implementation and assist with system setup for new group businesses.
o Deliver gross margin analysis by SKU, providing data-driven insights for forecasting and profitability.
o Prepare monthly management accounts and provide actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders.
o Produce budgets, forecasts, and performance reports to guide strategic and operational decisions.
o Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors.
o Oversee insurance, legal, HR, and data compliance requirements.
o Supervise an Accounts Assistant, supporting their development.
o Manage and improve IT systems and processes across the business.
About You
o Professionally qualified (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
o Proven experience as a Management Accountant within manufacturing, FMCG, or a product-based environment.
o Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, cost accounting, and reporting.
o Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
o Proficient in financial systems and MS Office (particularly Excel).
o Strong understanding of VAT, tax, and compliance.
o Analytical, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven, with excellent communication and organisational skills.
o A proactive self-starter who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced SME environment.
