The vacancy At Bromford Flagship, our purpose is to enable people to thrive. To help us achieve this, we're looking for an experienced solicitor focused on charging and securitisation to lead and manage the delivery of high-quality legal services ensuring Bromford Flagship's homes are ready to be charged, and our loans are fully secured, to support our treasury and investment goals. As the subject matter expert, you will provide strategic advice to the treasury and investment teams, enabling effective financing and refinancing activities that underpin Bromford Flagship's growth and sustainability. This is a permanent, full-time role with flexibility built in. You'll be based at one of our main offices in Bristol, Tewkesbury or Norwich, with some travel across our geography and the option to work from home regularly. What you'll be doing Leading on charging and securitisation for financing and refinancing activities Providing strategic advice to the treasury and investment teams in line with the Group's strategy and business plan Supervising and training junior colleagues on securitisation and property charging work Designing, developing, and continuously improving charging processes across the group Managing relationships with external solicitors to ensure value for money and efficient delivery Acting as the subject matter expert for charging and securitisation across the group What we're looking for A qualified solicitor or legal executive with significant post-qualification experience Strong knowledge and experience in land law, commercial property, conveyancing, landlord & tenant law, and real estate finance, ideally within the social housing sector Proven experience of charging and securitisation work Experience of supervising or managing others Excellent IT skills with a positive approach to change and innovation Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across finance, investment, and treasury Able to complete a basic DBS and consumer check The closing date is 18 November.
