Our client is a global law firm who are well-regarded in the UK and have multiple offices. They are hiring a Workplace Manager for their Leeds office. This is a site-based role in Leeds City Centre, working Monday–Friday.
Your new role
Curate a world-class workplace experience that fosters collaboration, connections, and a sense ofmunity through a positive, weing culture led by the workplace management team. Responsible for the overall operational management of the office, including workplace services, health and safety, andpliance. Effectively manage and motivate the workplace team, working collaboratively with the wider management team to lead by example with purpose, aligned with the Firm's values.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assist in local planning of space and facilities requirements to maintain high-quality, effective workplace solutions, including fit-out, space planning, and infrastructure services within the Agile working environment.
2. Manage services across the workplace, tailoring service delivery to each area as required.
3. Act as the direct internal/external client liaison for Workplace services issues, providing timely responses and appropriate solutions.
4. Develop and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the department.
5. Liaise with clients to ensure maximummunication and feedback.
6. Prepare and manage the operational workplace management budget for the office.
7. Maintain amercial approach to contract management through invoicing reconciliation, consumables, change controls, and reactive works.
8. Prepare procurement documentation for FM services and products.
9. Liaise with contracts managers and service providers to maintain effective working relationships.
10. Manage health and safetypliance in the workplace, including first aid, manual handling, DSE, risk assessments.
11. Monitor the working environment to adhere to health and safety standards.
12. Assist with the organisation of firm events and activities, providing guidance on health and safety measures.
13. Ensurepliance with ISO14001, OHSAS18001, and ISO27001 standards.
14. Manage and mentor the Workplace team, including skills training, personal development, coaching, and performance reviews.

What you'll need to succeed
15. Educated to a minimum of A level, HNC or equivalent, including Maths and English.
16. Minimum of IOSH Managing Safely or similar H&S certification required.
17. Membership of the IWFM is preferable.
18. At least 5 years of management-level experience in a similar role, including team management responsibilities.
What you'll get in return
A working week of 35 hours and salary of between £42,000-£48,000.
