We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Cardiac Catheter Lab Sister/Charge Nurse to lead a dedicated team at St Richards Hospital.
St Richard's Hospital has one Cardiac Catheter Lab, through which a range of procedures are undertaken, such as, diagnostic angiography, device implantation, elective cardioversion and TOEs.

Main duties of the job
The Cardiac Catheter Lab Sister/Charge Nurse's key role is to lead the team to ensure high standards of nursing care within the Cardiac Catheter Lab, working closely with other multidisciplinary team members (MDT) and assisting the medical team with procedures undertaken. Leadership experience, flexibility to the needs of patients, and clinical expertise are required to provide a positive learning environment for the team.
To ensure we continue to remain effective and efficient, the Ward Sister/Charge Nurse will help to develop protocols and guidelines, alongside the MDT to ensure the smooth operational running of the Cardiac Catheter Lab and patient pathways.
