Job Summary
To act as liaison between the Maintenance supervisor and Production Control, Operations and Suppliers in all aspects of machine and facilities maintenance
Responsibilities
* To provide a point of contact between Operations, Maintenance suppliers and Maintenance supervisor.
* Record incoming maintenance requests and communicate with Maintenance supervisor / Team to ensure prompt repair.
* Liaise with EHS Department to ensure compliance activities are understood and planned.
* Co-ordinate spares and service requests to suppliers as directed by Maintenance supervisor.
* Seek best price for spares items and opportunities for cost down on activities.
* Liaise with Production control and operations to schedule routine servicing visits.
* Sign in and provide work permits to visiting engineers and contractors.
* Raise purchase order requisitions. Expedite outstanding purchase orders.
* Liaise with Purchasing and Finance to ensure prompt clearance of invoices and reduced queries.
* Maintain accurate records for servicing and items purchased.
* Input data into the CMMS system (MaintainX).
* Attend regular meetings to communicate machine maintenance updates.
* To work in a safe manner in order to satisfy Health and Safety legislation and to avoid accident or injury to people, machinery or property.
* To be aware of and comply with relevant aspects of the Company's Quality Policy and Procedures.
* Carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required within the jobholder's capability consistent with Terms and Conditions of employment.

Essentials:
* Strong Excel and Power Point skills

Experience And Education
* Sound practical experience (1 – 2 years) in a repair or manufacturing environment. Ability to communicate at all levels with Operators, Engineers, Suppliers, Contractors and senior management.
* Some commercial and business acumen required but, not essential.
* Good computer skills, excel knowledge and experience (essential)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.50-£12.98 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 39 per week
