We are a family run, and are experienced social care providers in other services. We are looking for a likeminded individual who is as passionate about changing the lives of children for the better, as we are.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Children's Manager to oversee the care and wellbeing of children in our Canterbury home. This is a 3 bed EBD home with children aged from 8-18.This role requires a strong leader with a passion for providing high-quality care in a nurturing environment.
The Registered Children's Manager will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, quality standards, and fostering a supportive atmosphere for both children and your staff within.

In the meantime, we are looking for;
* Previous experience in a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager role in a Residential Children's Care Setting (essential).
* Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential Service or equivalent (essential).
* Resilient, committed and enthusiastic person (essential).
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. (essential).
* Proven knowledge of Child Protection & Safeguarding (essential).
* Proven knowledge of the Children Act & Children's Homes Regulations and how to apply them in a children's residential setting
* Demonstrable knowledge of Ofsted Regulations, Quality Standards and Social Care Common Inspection Framework (essential).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills (essential).
* Have a calm and approachable manner (essential).
* Be adaptable and non-judgemental (essential).
* Be able to work under own initiative and as part of a team (essential).
* Have excellent organisational skills (essential).
* Full clean manual driving licence with the ability to drive (Desirable).
* NVQ or Diploma Level 5 in Leadership & Management in Residential Children's Services or equivalent (Desirable).
* Social Work Qualification of Equivalent (Desirable)
* Any relevant or transferrable skills, such as First Aid trained (Desirable)
* Understanding and knowledge of Therapeutic Approach to Childcare. (Desirable)

We offer a £3000 signing bonus for the successful candidate upon completion of a 6 month probationary period.
