Key Responsibilities: Delivering concept studies and strategies with hands-on design, leading to planning applications, technical approval submissions, and construction drawing issues Contributing to Development projects across various sectors and clients Managing multiple project/client accounts concurrently Providing guidance and support to a team of technical staff Engaging in high-profile client interactions and stakeholder management Ensuring project delivery to budget, programme, and technical standards Producing designs, drawings, and technical reports for construction and masterplanning Job Requirements: Experience in highway design, drainage strategy and design, flood risk assessment, and utility design and planning Appreciation of hydraulics, hydrology, geotechnics, and building structures Ability to produce infrastructure masterplans, site appraisals, technical reports, design calculations, and construction drawings Knowledge of relevant design codes and preparation of drawings for contract documentation and technical approvals Aware of current technical and planning guidance on climate change and sustainability Proficiency in using software including InfoDrainage, Civils 3D, and/or PDS Experience liaising with clients, co-professionals, and design teams, as well as negotiating with relevant authorities for technical approvals and statutory agreements Understanding of the financial and contractual aspects of project ...
