A well-established British international school in Cairo is currently seeking an outstanding Business and/or Economics Teacher to join its Secondary team from September 2026.
The school has a strong reputation locally, an established international community, and a modern campus environment supporting students from Early Years through to Sixth Form. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and knowledgeable teacher with the ability to inspire students across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. The successful candidate will join a forward-thinking secondary team and contribute to the continued growth of Business and Economics within the school’s expanding sixth form provision.
The successful candidate will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*
A recognised teaching qualification meeting home-country requirements (PGCE, B.Ed, GDE etc.)
*
A minimum of 3 years post-qualification teaching experience
*
Experience teaching Business and/or Economics within the British curriculum
*
Strong knowledge of GCSE/IGCSE and A Level curricula
*
A proven track record of strong academic outcomes
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*
The ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and families
*
A collaborative and solutions-focused approach to school life
Desirable:

*
Experience teaching highly aspirational students

Experience contributing to curriculum development or departmental leadership
*
Ability to contribute to enrichment and extracurricular activities
Role Responsibilities:
*
Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across KS3 - KS5
*
Monitor student progress and provide high-quality feedback
*
Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development
*
Act as a secondary form tutor
*
Support the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities
*
Work collaboratively within a high-performing secondary team
Salary & Benefits Package:
