Overview
We are seeking a crerative and experienced Brunch Chef to join our Kitchen team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food, excellent leadership qualities, and a strong background in kitchen operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase culinary skills, create brunch and small pplates menus, manage kitchen staff, and contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences. Duties
* Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service
* Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
* Oversee food safety procedures and maintain cleanliness in compliance with health regulations
* Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control waste to optimise kitchen efficiency
* Develop new menu items in collaboration with management, incorporating current culinary trends
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
* Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery
* Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation to uphold high standards
* Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and operated safely
Skills
* Proven supervisory experience within a professional kitchen environment
* Strong background in food production, food preparation, and cooking techniques
* Excellent team management and leadership abilities
* Sound knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
* Experience working in hospitality or restaurant settings with a focus on customer satisfaction
