Our Trainee Driver role is ideal for those passionate about customer service.
Train Drivers play a crucial role in setting a new standard for rail in the 21st Century, focusing on creating a relaxed, fast, efficient, and enjoyable experience for passengers. Responsibilities include driving trains, providing excellent customer service, following safety procedures, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth operations.

Throughout training, there will be practical and academic assessments to support your progression to becoming a Qualified Driver.

Minimum Requirements
* You must be 21 years or older to join the training program, as per industry regulations.
* You need to live within 60 minutes travel to your first choice depot, without relying on public transport when unavailable. This requirement is non-negotiable for safety reasons.
* You must be able to work shifts, including weekends and nights.
* You need to pass a comprehensive medical exam, including hearing, sight, and color vision tests. Applications will not be accepted without passing these standards.

The training salary is £32,489 per annum, increasing to £69,105 upon qualification.
