Kingdom Services Group are a key partner to The University of South Wales, and we have a great opportunity for an SIA Door Supervisor Licenced Security Guard to join our award-winning Security Team, dealing with many staff, students and visitors on a daily basis.
Where: Treforest, CF37 area.
When: We’re looking to get the right person in to the team ASAP!
Hours: On average 42 hours per week, shifts as per site rota. Monday to Sunday various shifts available 07:00am - 19:00pm & 19:00pm - 07:00am.
Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour

About the role:
* Maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff and students by patrolling and monitoring the premises.
* Act as first point of contact for visitors to the site.
* Supervise and control site access including the opening and locking down of site buildings.
* Operating and monitoring the CCTV cameras.
* Act as the first point of contact for visitors to the site.
* Liaise with the client to fulfil security requirements on site.
* Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
* Deal with confrontational situations in a calm, sensitive and professional manner.
About you:
* Excellent communication & customer service skills.
* Professional in approach, with a balanced sense of judgement, and a keen eye for detail.
* Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential.
* A valid SIA Door Supervisor licence
* Full UK Manual Driving Licence (essential as driving a company vehicle).
* A full five-year checkable employment history.
