Head of Finance - INGO, London Charity People are very pleased to be partnering with a growing and forward-thinking circa £9-10million annual turnover international organisation based in London. This is a newly created role. An exciting time to join this global organisation, where you will be reporting to the CFO and leading and empowering a team of five (UK and USA). Candidates applying for this role, must have strong experience in Charity SORP, multicurrency, consolidating multiple entities (UK and overseas offices) and experience in Finance system change. You will be working with a very forward-thinking CFO where you will be given the autonomy to lead and empower a Finance Division. This is a hybrid role going to London twice a week. The salary offered for this role is between £65,000 - £70,000 per annum plus very generous holidays and investment for your personal development by the organisation. Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 per annum + 7% pension contributionHybrid: 2 days a week in London Some of your main duties are:Experience in working in multi-currency and multi-entity environmentsFinancial system management and development experienceExperience in streamlining processes, procedures, and automationTreasury management in a multi-currency environment (Banking, investment, foreign exchange, cash flow, financial policies)Experience in UK Charity SORP-based production of annual accounts and audits and managing financial returns in US and Belgium jurisdictionLead the production of the annual accounts and acted as key contact to the auditors. Preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with local accounting principles and legal requirements to agreed timelines for all entities.Lead on the planning and management of the annual audit process for all entities.Ensure all statutory reporting and compliance obligations worldwide are met on a timely basis (including HMRC, Companies House, and the Charity Commission in the UK; federal and local tax returns, the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) 990 return in the US, and any others that may arise).Support CFO in the selection of organisation auditor.Ensure the budgeting and budget reforecasting process to carryout in timely and accurately.Ensure financial management pack is produced and reviewed for Leader Team, board and budget holders on monthly basis.Ensure financial risks emanating from all financial activities are highlighted and managed properly.Ensure budgets for restricted funding are produced with aim of full cost recovery. Ensure financial compliance of internal, statutory and donor requirements are understood, practiced and met by all staff.Review financial reports to donors as required.
