Job Title: HGV Technician
Shift: Monday – Friday days (45 hrs)
Location: Berkeley
Salary: £42,000 - £45,000
Overtime All paid 1.5X
HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter opportunity
Due to increased business levels our specialist fleet maintenance company is looking to add an additional HGV technician / Mechanic / Fitter to the team in Berkeley.
Duties of the HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter
- Perform a variety of routine servicing, inspections and subsequent repairs to a variety of trucks and commercial vehicles
- Perform visual or operational checks to locate worn, dirty or maladjusted parts.
- Carry out technical inspections
- Will be required to undertake thorough inspections of accident damaged machines and produce accurate reports to enable repair.
Experience/skills required for the HGV Technician/ Mechanic / Fitter
- Previous experience working on a range of heavy goods vehicles
- Hold an HGV Class 1 or 2 licence
- Valid driving licence.
- Based in the Berkeley area
