Operations Manager | Out of hours | Permanent
Salary: £30,613
Shifts: 07:00 am to 20:00 pm, Saturday & Sunday including all bank holidays.
Hours: 24 Hours

We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager in Letchworth to oversee courier resources, maximize efficiencies, and support the Regional Manager in creating a KPI-driven environment focused on service and revenue.
A successful Out of Hours Operations Manager manages daily resources, supports the Regional Manager, and contributes positively to departmental success.
Main responsibilities include:
* Manage stakeholder relationships to maintain a positive reputation.
* Support and develop Operations Controllers/Coordinators through regular reviews.
* Manage site access and security logs.
* Monitor costs and resource allocation to optimize revenue and profit.
* Ensure timely updates to systems like CityTrak, X-Despatch 3, Salesforce.
* Resolve customer, courier, and control queries effectively.
Skills needed:
* Understanding of Service Centre operations.
* Knowledge of systems like CityTrak and X-Despatch 3.
* Ability to advise clients and colleagues proactively.
* Flexibility to reprioritize tasks in a busy environment.
* Understanding of commercial targets and KPIs.
* Ability to deputize for the Service Centre Manager.
* Experience in Operations environment.
* Strong customer orientation and relationship-building skills.
* Knowledge of KPIs & SLA’s and influencing success.
