Amount of Travel Required: Up to 15%


Job Description

Summary/objective

Buffalo Rock is an award-winning Pepsi and Keurig Dr Pepper bottler founded in Birmingham, AL more than 123 years ago. Buffalo Rock manages the best beverage portfolio in the country, which includes several beloved global and regional brands.

The primary duty of the Corporate Employee Experience Specialist is to perform key functions in the talent acquisition process (recruiting/hiring) as well as all other Employee Experience functions.

* Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of this position.
* Perform facets of recruiting to include sourcing, qualifying, screening as well as preparing candidates for pre-hire/onboarding activities.
* Recruiting duties:
o Utilize ATS (Applicant Tracking System) to document and track candidates through the recruitment process.
o Provide hiring managers with a qualified applicant pool via the ATS, internal referrals, and employee referrals.
o Call/Screen resumes and applications for openings and schedule interviews.
o Schedule pre-employment tasks (drug tests, physicals) and ensure completion.
o Check references, education, and other credentials.
o Coordinate applicant activities including job postings and logs to ensure compliance.
o Maintain records of candidate interviews and provide status reports to hiring managers.
o Schedule and conduct onboarding for new employee-partners.
* Monitor New Hire Check-ins, Evaluations, and other performance data in Company Performance Management Software; follow up as needed.
* Responsible for Employee Experience office hours to resolve employee-partner issues and answer inquiries; document visits and follow up as needed.
* Coordinate information for recruitment incentives, such as referral and hiring incentives.
* Coordinate/schedule New Hire Luncheons/Breakfast and plan events (food, meeting space, etc.).
* Ensure Corporate Communications are distributed as appropriate, including Employee Communication Boards.
* Enter and review data into HRIS and other systems (benefits, badge access, Motus, training, evaluations, schedules, databases, etc.) to keep employment records up-to-date, accurate and timely (including terminations).
* Ensure all post-accident drug tests are completed timely.
* Responsible for Uniform/Shoe orders.
* Short-Term Disability claim processing.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
* Ensure that all temporary employees are compliant with approved background checks/drug tests.

Required education and experience

* Education: High School diploma or GED (or management approval) required.
* Bachelor’s Degree in Business/HR preferred.
* Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint; SharePoint preferred.
* Certifications and Licenses: Valid Driver’s License.
* Other Requirements: Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems (word processing, records management, forms design, etc.).


Tools and Technology

Tools: Telephones, fax machines, desktop/laptop computers, scanners.

Technology: Oracle HRIS, Taleo (Applicant Tracking System), BenefitsConnect, Badge Access Software.

Time Accounting Software: TimeClock Plus.
