Service Care Solutions are currently supporting a dynamic Local Authority, based in Oxfordshire, which is seeking an experienced Planning and Highways Lawyer to join their legal team on an interim basis. Role: Planning and Highways Lawyer Location: Local Authority – Oxfordshire - Remote considered Umbrella Rate: £50 – £60 per hour PAYE Inc. Rate: £44.10 - £52.79 per hour Contract Length: 3 months ongoing Key Responsibilities: Handle a planning and highways law caseload from start to completion. There will be a predominant focus on s106 agreements and highway agreements. Draft planning law agreements.Criteria For The Role: Qualified Solicitor / Barrister / Legal Executive with a current practising certificate and proven experience working as a Planning Lawyer, ideally within a Local Authority setting. Strong drafting skills with a track record of negotiating and preparing Planning Agreements. Recent and relevant experience in handling s106 agreements and/or highway agreements.Benefits: Weekly pay – the rate offered will depend on interview performance and experience.
