Purchasing Assistant

Main Purpose of the Job:
The Purchasing Assistant will support the Purchasing Manager with various procurement-related tasks, including managing supplier relationships, maintaining accurate data administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Purchasing Manager with demand forecasting, shortfall planning, and communication with relevant departments.
Maintain and update systems, ensuring data is accurate and accessible.
Process purchase orders for suppliers efficiently and accurately.
Ensure stock accuracy on the ERP system and assist with stock cycle counts.
Prepare weekly and monthly statistics and purchasing reports for management.
Skills and Qualifications/Experience:
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Relevant experience in a similar purchasing or procurement role.
Salary & Benefits:
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per year (dependent on experience)
Holiday: 33 days per year (including bank holidays)
