Paralegal - Commercial Litigation (Property)

Description
CSG is looking for a Paralegal to join us in our Property Recoveries team (property damage claims).
This is an exciting opportunity to undertake a varied caseload of both Pursuer and Defender work in the Sheriff Court (simple procedure and ordinary cause).
As a Paralegal in our Property Recoveries team, you will be based in our Glasgow office and expected to attend the office 5 days per week for the first 6 months.

What you will do?
You will have;
* Preferably have a minimum of a degree in Law (LLB or equivalent) or Paralegal/CILEX qualification.
* Be highly organised and a confident communicator with an outstanding eye for detail.
* Be interested in and preferably have a basic understanding of general contract and delict.
* Be IT literate, with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office; previous knowledge or experience of a case management system would be an advantage but not essential.
* Be team orientated, with a willingness to share knowledge with and support other members of the team.
* Have an ability to adopt a commercial perspective rather than an ‘academic’ approach to claim settlements.
* Demonstrate alignment with the Firm’s Cultural Principles (Clear, Creative, Determined and Supportive).
